The port of Kavala is one of the main gates of the Balkans in the Mediterranean and in recent years is constantly upgrading its infrastructure in order to make the port system of Kavala an important maritime transport hub in the wider region, with particular emphasis on the Eastern Balkans. The Port Authority of Kavala SA is responsible for the management of the four ports in the greater area of Kavala: the Central Port of Kavala “APOSTOLOS PAVLOS”, the Commercial Port “Philippos B” in Nea Karvarali, the Port of Eleftheron and the port of Keramoti.
In this context, our company has undertaken the support of the Administration of the Organization and the Port Facility Security Officers (PFSO), for the effective implementation of the ISPS Code (commercial service, RO-RO and Cruise Ship) and in combination with future operationo of Waterports and the Acquired Schengen (implementation of new Entry-Exit System (EES) procedures in the Maritime Border Crossing Points (BCP)).
