ABOUT NEXT PLUS

NEXT PLUS was created in March 2018 based on the long experience and know-how of its executives.

WHO WE ARE

NEXT PLUS was founded in March 2018 with the aim of providing specialized consulting services on issues related to the security and proper operation of Port Facilities and Ports, Building and Industrial Facilities and Waterports and Water Fields.

During its operation it has managed to integrate into its ranks accredited executives who combine knowledge and years of experience in Aviation and Maritime Security and their operational procedures.

In addition, it has developed significant partnerships with strictly selected partners that cover a wide range of activities, thereby striving to provide an expanded framework of services to its customers.

The high level of training of its executives and the services provided has already created the conditions for developing collaborations with the administrations of major Port Facility Operators all over Greece, including Port Authorities, Municipal Port Funds and Private Enterprises.

The ever-growing momentum of NEXT PLUS has created an extremely favorable climate for developing collaborations with leading outsourcing companies in different fields of activity to provide complete solutions to its customers, always having as their primary purpose the full satisfaction of their needs even if it is not solely concern its own activities.

The next step for NEXT PLUS is its certification by the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy as a Recognized Security Organization (RSO) for the preparation of Port Facility and Ports Security Assessments (PFSA-PSA).

Finally, NEXT PLUS holds three certifications, for the quality of its services (ISO 9001: 2015), for the management of information security (ISO 27001: 2022), and for ensuring its Business Continuity (ISO 22301: 2019), thus confirming the NEXT PLUS Management’s sound orientation to comply with even the most rigorous internal procedures regarding Quality and Security.

WHAT WE OFFER

We undertake the process of delimiting the Port Facility and / or the Port and if there are operational needs and the parallel demarcation of the Waterport.
We undertake the support of the Facility Security Officer (Port, Factory, Building) for the effective implementation of the Facility Security Plan.
We organize the operational procedures of the port facility (access control procedures, security checks, passport and customs controls when it comes to a Regulated Entrance Point, etc.), in order to provide the best possible passenger service and experience.
We have the know-how and experience to organize the best possible Homeporting processes, depending on the existing infrastructure, ensuring as much as possible passenger and ship service by strictly adhering to safety & security regulations.
We develop security studies and process manuals relating to the operation of a port or a port facility.
We develop software with the help of specialized partners to assist in the better and more efficient design of the ship’s arrival-departure program (berth allocation system).

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE

NEXT PLUS, a new Private Security Service Operator (PSSO), is bringing a new dimension to the small but dynamic market of providing multiple and integrated port services. With in-depth knowledge of the subject, strategic organization, modern and well-equipped facilities and executives available to serve, push the provision of port services one step further.

An accumulated experience of 35 years in the aviation sector (sales, security, ground handling, etc.) and 15 years in the maritime sector (ISPS Code support, PFSA-PFSP studies, etc.) guarantee upgraded services with quality, efficiency and functionality, covering every possible requirement of Port Administration and Exploitation Bodies and further beyond.

NEXT PLUS is an acronym for the English phrase New Enhanced Xtra Targets Peripheral Launched Unified Support, which emphasizes the holistic approach to service with attention to detail and efficiency.

Having as its core service the security studies of the ISPS Code, the Schengen Treaty, etc. (providing further support) NEXT PLUS also offers a wide range of complementary services, such as participation in funding programs (NSRF, PIP, etc., ), drafting technical specifications, port infrastructure repairs and maintenance, procurement, installation and operation of security infrastructure and equipment, legal and tax services, water infrastructure operation and support and more.

Several Port Management and Exploitation Bodies are already experienced and have seen tangible results of this effort that we launched in March 2018 and we are now pursuing faster, better targeted and with more efficiency rates.

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSING

Both management and NEXT PLUS staff are committed to continuous monitoring and adherence to both National and European Legislation and to the faithful application of ISO procedures.

Specifically, NEXTPLUS:

1) Has a License of a Private Company Providing Security Services (PCPSS)

2) It has ISO 9001: 2015 certification which ensures: a) That our services comply with international quality standards and that their quality and effectiveness have been audited and certified by a certification body b) The services provided by us are within the legal framework and the regulatory framework therefore the client is not at risk of being exposed to state authorities. Compliance with the same procedures by all employees ensures the smooth delivery of services from all sections of our company and furthermore maintaining the level and knowledge when an employee retires from office.

3) It has ISO 27001: 2022 Certification which ensures that our internal control, information handling and operation of our information systems follow specific security standards that are regularly checked for both reliability and compliance by our employees.

4) It has ISO 22301: 2019 certification that ensures that the Company is able to recover and maintain its business operations. Moreover, NEXT PLUS commits itself through its Code of Values for the Loyalty to the Customer “Customer should feel always assured of the Company’s immediate availability and immediate coverage of his needs”.

5) In addition, all members of our company are classified under the National Industrial Safety Regulation (NISR) in order to be able to manage classified documents.

6) Finally, our company, in order to ensure hygiene and quality in the workplace, in addition to the significant investments it has made in the procurement of the necessary equipment, ensures through instructions and seminars for the best possible information to the employees on hygiene and safety issues.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONISBILITY

NEXT PLUS understanding the importance of ports in the development of not only local communities and economies, but also of the wider national and social community, wishes to contribute to the progress and development through its business activities. This contribution is also the main denominator of all our actions that determine the evolution of our business activity and the successful achievement of our goals and ambitions.

Within this framework, having developed a rigorous code of conduct where the principles of integrity and accountability not only to Port Administration and Exploitation Bodies but also to local communities, we strive to create an operating framework that will protect and actively contribute to sustainable development of those who trust us.

All studies (security, technical projects for inclusion in financial programs, etc.) are timeless, with the main objective of protecting social cohesion and habits. The purpose of security measures is to improve the operation of the port and not to hinder its development.
Although NEXT PLUS started operating in 2018, it does not believe that the pay of its employees within the boundaries of the Collective Agreement is a guide to the growth of a company. Instead of focusing on employee satisfaction, she has developed a system of pay incentives and invests in both their workplace and their training, and aims to create a healthy work environment that enables her employees to further develop their skills by offering a high level of service to our clients while living with their families with dignity.
Our company, even when the contracting entities have problems covering the terms of their contracts, does not discontinue the support to them but strives in collaboration with them to find the appropriate solutions to continue the uninterrupted operation of the installations for the benefit of the whole community.

We struggle daily to find ways of promoting, resolving procedural or bureaucratic “glitches” and integrating into funding programs for public research projects necessary for the community.
