Annual Security Exercise of Leros Municipal Port Fund

The Municipal Port Fund of Leros, in the framework of the implementation of Regulation 2004/725 / EC and the National Legislation, carried out on December 9, 2021, in collaboration with the specialized consulting company NEXT PLUS, the annual Security Exercise (Exercise on paper) of the Port Facilities Agia Marina Leros “and” Lakki Leros “, under his responsibility.

In addition to the Administration of The Municipal Port Fund of Leros and its staff, representatives of the Leros Port Authority, the Leros Police Department, and EKAB participated in the Security exercise.

The conclusions of the Exercise include, inter alia, the definition of an appropriate space that will function as a Coordination and Emergency Management Center, for the management of Security Incidents and emergencies in general, in accordance with international standards for the management of such situations, as well as the definition of gathering places of those who evacuate the Port Facilities.

The Municipal Port Fund of Leros, makes every effort for the continuous Upgrading of its Ports, in order to remain secure and to continuously improve the services provided, in order to attract more and more ships improving the tourist and commercial traffic of Leros.
