KALYMNOS NEWS: “In Kalymnos, representatives of NEXT PLUS for cooperation with the Kalymnos Municipal Port Fund and information on Schengen security issues  in order for the port to continue as an entrance-exit point”

Konstantinos Kavdas and Marinos Kraniotis, representatives of NEXT PLUS, a company providing specialized consulting services on issues related to the security and smooth operation of Port Facilities and Ports, are in Kalymnos.

This Company cooperates with the Municipal Port Fund of Kalymnos and the purpose of the visit to Kalymnos is to inform about Schengen issues for the free movement zone of the EU and the adaptation of the port according to the provided instructions so that it continues to remain as an entrance-exit point.

For this purpose, the Municipal Port Fund (MPF) of Kalymnos had organized and today, Thursday, June 4, 2020, at 10.00 in the morning, is held an informative meeting  in the City Hall, attended by Mayor Dimitris Diakomichalis, the President of MPF of Kalymnos Michalis Boukis, the Vice President of MPF Nikitas Giannikouris, the leader of the major minority Ioannis Mastrokoukos and Sakis Tiliakos the representative of the minimum Minority.

This was followed by a meeting with the representatives of the Police, the Port Authority, the Customs.
