The island of Spetses has been part of the specific cruise line program for a few years now and is a solid destination. The port of Spetses, and more specifically the Dapia jetty, serves daily the island’s ferry connection, commercial traffic, interconnection with sea taxis but also the needs of the cruise, since the port facility is delimited there.

Meeting different needs and functions in combination with other island functions create a demanding environment for the effective implementation of the ISPS Code.

Our company ensures the smooth operation of the Port Facility as effectively as possible, the effective implementation of the ISPS Code security measures and procedures, the briefing of personnel with security duties, the implementation of drills and security exercises adapted to the needs of the Port Facility.

In addition, it undertook the preparation of the Port Facility Emergency Response Plan (SAKEA) and of the wider Port area.

Completing the Port of Spetses is one of the few Municipal Port Funds that receive the reciprocal security fee, having fully implemented the requirements of applicable law.
